A CNA program instructor from Los Angeles Harbor College will share what CNA classes are like at LAHC and what students can expect from the training process.

Interested in getting up-to-date knowledge and insight on the current health challenges in LA? Come join this workshop to hear public health and environmental health professionals discuss disease prevention, pollutants, mental health, and substance abuse in communities in LA and how they are being addressed. Understanding these systemic issues and educating yourself about the community you live in are crucial parts of becoming a healthcare professional!

Panelists can also talk about why they chose their field, discuss what the challenges and opportunities looked like, and share advice about getting involved!
